Kyra is a swivel chair designed by Paul Brooks and manufactured by Girsberger and it can be used in widely different situations.

Thanks to a large number of position adjustments, the chair adapts itself ideally to individual body shapes. Kyra has a synchronous mechanism that encourages active sitting. The mechanism can be adapted to the user’s weight by means of a quick and easy-to-use adjustment control, and can be locked into several different positions.

The front of the height-adjustable backrest is upholstered, with the reverse side either also upholstered or in plastic. Fabrics in different colours are available for the cover.

An optional, depth-adjustable lumbar bolster ensures precise support of the lumbar region. The seat angle can be given a forward tilt of up to 3 degrees and can be locked into several positions. The seat depth can be adjusted by 8 cm or, optionally, 10 cm.

If required, Kyra can be supplied with an upholstered headrest adjustable in height and tilt, and a coat hook. A choice of different armrests is available.

The way in which Kyra is constructed allows the chair to be dismantled at the end of its working life in order to recycle most of the parts.
